Self-Sufficiency

Maybe the title of this post is going a little far. But, Liora definitely has an independent streak (and not just evidenced by the fact that she still picks out all of her clothes every morning herself). She can go for some pretty long stretches (in toddler time) of independent play.

Here she is ripping apart the phone book (I'm glad someone found a use for that):

She also still loves getting in her crib and playing there, usually choosing to read her little books from Cousin Heather. She will ask to get in her crib, and then settle down for some good reading time. We're always happy to see that she can amuse herself.
