At the beginning of the month, we went to visit Dee Dee to celebrate her birthday. We had a quick but nice visit, complete with some New Orleans food at a restaurant in West Chester. On the way home, we decided to stop by Longwood Gardens. It was a blustery day, so we decided to go to the indoor gardens, which we heard had some cool children's exhibits. We were lucky a friend suggested we bring a change of clothes for Liora.
Because it was all about water! Liora had a ball.
At first I think we were holding her back in hopes that she wouldn't get soaking wet. Here's Adam still thinking he can stop her from getting soaked.
In the next frame, she was sticking her face in the waterfall.
And at this point, all hope is lost. Her shirt is water-logged.
And her face and hair is matted.
In this shirt, you can't really tell that she's practically been swimming!
This was the coolest part. She had so much fun putting her fingers in the spouts and splurting it everywhere.
And, one change of clothes later, we are all dry and ready for lunch (with the help of some towels the staff just happens to have on hand). This place was perfect for her--I can see many more trips in her future.
Thanks for the nice visit Dee Dee! Love you and can't wait to see you again soon.
