reunion breakfast

To end the reunion weekend, we hosted the whole crew at our house for bagels.

Liora loved hanging out with Lily--she thinks Lily was SO COOL.

And likewise, Lily liked the younger kids. Here they are crawling after Nate--they went around and around the downstairs crawling like Nate. They both thought it was hilarious. Then they were off running! They were busy.

It's hard to believe that we've all moved on and away from our years in school...but honestly, it never feels like it was that long ago when we finally get together. We'll miss having Sarah and Chris here in the US, but at least now we can go back to having someone to visit in London. Let's make sure we do this again soon!

And now for some Liora updates!

• More animals! She can say octopus and hippopotamus.
• She can say more body parts--cheek, mouth, knee, elbow.
• She's making jokes now...deliberately doing things either for laughs or to test her boudaries. She'll get an evil little smile to see how far we'll let her go.
• She knows all the words for clothing: dress, shirt, skirt, pants, shorts, and hat. She is also getting opinions about what Mommy wears, often trying to get me to change my outfit or help me get dressed.
• Liora is repeating a lot more things now. Yesterday she said "little girl" after I did.
• She is recognizing herself in photos, and is getting better at saying her name. It sounds a little like "ora" but it's something.
• She's really into stickers ever since we bought her a sticker book for the plane ride to California. She can say "sticker" and will pull the books out every morning to stick some more animals into their scenes.
