Aunt Gabi told us about a cool outdoors event planned by the National Wildlife Federation, Hike and Seek. And so in mid-October, we were lucky enough to have the opportunity to attend this "get kids outdoors" themed event. We invited Elle and her parents once again. The event was at a nearby park, and included a long hike (a little too long for three-year-olds) with stations for learning and discovering.

At the end of the hike, there were wildlife rehabbers there with some birds of prey and reptiles they had rescued, including this owl.
Liora was very brave touching the snake! Mommy and Kaya were resting off camera! :)
