Thanksgiving - part 2

The next day was Thanksgiving! We were very excited to see everyone, and we were really looking forward to a fully catered meal--no cooking, and no clean-up. I recommend it!

But first wanted to direct you to this photo of Liora's turkey we made prior to the trip. She was supposed to list the things she was most thankful for (we talked about that every day of the month), and as you can see, one of the things she is thankful for is herself. At least she also listed mommy, daddy, and her friends and teachers.

And now back to turkey day! The kids were so excited to have so much family around to hang out with.

Kaya and her California grandparents.

It was love at first head butt.

Beautiful family portrait from Andrew!

Randi and family around our gigundo square table. The meal was excellent. Andrew and Tara did an amazing job getting everything set-up and planned; it was truly enjoyable and relaxing.

Daddy's 40th birthday was just around the corner from this holiday. Andrew and family surprised us with a birthday cake to celebrate!

The following day, we got ready to head home. We were so happy to have the chance to connect with the family and see the cousins build relationships. Here's to many more visits!

On the last day, Devon and Liora get princess tattoos, because that's how all Thanksgivings end, right?

Thanks again to Andrew and Tara for hosting us for the weekend and for hosting the amazing dinner. Thanks to MeMe and Amity for visiting with us in the city so we could have some bonding time. Thanks to Randi and family for the yummy meal and for all the great toys/entertainment for the girls. And thanks to Pat and Grandpa Wally for joining in the fun. We all had a wonderful time!
