LA day 2

On Day 2 of our LA adventures, we had a very full day! And because we had Amit as our official photographer, we caught much more on film than we normally do.

Here's Liora reading a book in the morning, enjoying the wall to wall windows.

Here she is enjoying the attentions of her Amity. She seriously just crawled into his lap and got comfortable there.

Are you starting to notice a theme in these photos...maybe a baby being a bit spoiled by her grandparents? Here is Liora getting her breakfast on the kitchen counter from MeMe. I can assure you this does not happen at home.

Next, it was on to every young person's dream...

That's right, we went to Disney. Mommy was not prepared for the craziness that IS Disney, but we had a great time anyway. Mommy had never been to a Disney, so she was very excited to see the castle.

Did I mention that June in Los Angeles is referred to as "June Gloom"? That's right, you won't see much sun in our photos from our trip; it takes until about 3 pm every day for the clouds to burn off. Daddy liked the idea that we could enjoy being outside without worrying about sunblock. Here you can see Liora is wearing a fleece on top of her long-sleeved shirt. We'll pick a different time of year next trip!

In keeping with Liora's last response to the carousel, she thought it was cool, then got scared, then wanted to do it all over again.

Liora's favorite ride was the "It's a Small World" boat ride. Mommy and Daddy got over the incessant singing of the song eventually.

Perhaps Liora's other favorite part of Disney was the Toon Town, where there was a playground, a pizza restaurant, and this gazebo where she could dance. If you are thinking that we probably could have saved a lot of money and gone to a playground, pizza restaurant, and a park, please keep that thought to yourself.

We rode a few more rides, attempted to cajole Liora into a photo with Minnie or Pluto (but failed), and stopped at the Disney store where Mommy had to wrench away about a dozen stuffed animals before we settled on a Pooh Bear. We enjoyed our first visit to Disney, and plan on returning when Liora is a bit older and more interested in the whole experience.

Back at the apartment, Liora sat in one of her favorite chairs and had her afternoon coffee chat with her grandparents.

Had another yummy dinner!

And washed Disney off in a relaxing bath.

Before going to bed, Liora had her night cap.
